Dubai Metro
This visit to Dubai, go futuristic. Hop on to the longest unmanned metro system in the world – the Dubai Metro.
There are in all 13 stations placed at strategic points in Dubai. And a train scheduled every 10 minutes, just makes mall hopping a lot easier and lets you give the peak hour road rush a miss.
To make your ride as comfortable as possible, the bogies are kept spotlessly clean – that means no eating and drinking inside the metro. However, if you do feel hungry, the sleek looking stations are equipped with small eating outlets to grab a quick bite or a refreshing coffee on the go.
Short on cash? No worries. The stations are extremely traveler friendly with ATM kiosks, and a total of 3000 CCTV security cameras ensure that you travel safe and secure.
And if you are lost - the RTA (Road Transport Authority) has installed information platforms in the form of LCD monitors in popular places in Dubai to make information on Dubai Metro accessible.

The metro is at your disposal from 6am to11pm, Saturday to Thursday, and from 2pm till midnight on Fridays. And during peak hours the trains run every three minutes and 45 seconds.
